Purpose and Scope

Training Circular TC 04-71, Commander Aviation Maintenance Training Program (CAMTP),provides guidance on the establishment, implementation, and management of the CAMTP. The CAMTP is a comprehensive program that ensures that aviation maintenance personnel are trained and qualified to perform their duties safely and effectively.

The CAMTP is applicable to all Army aviation units that perform aviation maintenance. This includes active duty, National Guard, and Reserve units. The CAMTP is also applicable to civilian contractors who perform aviation maintenance for the Army.
